UNITED VAN LINES

The only 100% owned and operated Van Line in Canada, United was established in 1953. The premise of establishing United was return load bureau. Prior to the formation of United, many well-run independent movers were traversing Canada and lacked a representative or agent at destination returned empty to their home base. On a cold day in October, 1953, a number of small independent movers from across Canada formed what we now know as United Van Lines. United is pleased with its representation in over 112 locations throughout Canada and over 425 pieces of rolling stock. With its head office in Mississauga, Ontario, United Van Lines employs over 65 highly skilled personnel and is governed by a Canadian Board of Directors.
